Board / Code – Teensy 4.1 Pixel Pusher and DuotrigesimalWS2811
I’ve been running a Teensy 3.2 with the OctoWS2811 board for my show for the past 5 years and have been looking for options to upgrade to a Teensy 4.0 or 4.1. The Teensy 4.1 Pixel Pusher and code by Amos Computing fits this perfectly!
The board is an open source design with all the files and information on github at https://github.com/brianamos1/DuotrigesimalWS2811. Also on github is the code for pulling in E1.31 data to be pushed to all the pixels, at https://github.com/brianamos1/DTG_E.131.
You can order the board from Tindie (SMT only, kit, or full assembled) and order the Teensy 4.1 (don’t forget the ethernet socket and pins) from pjrc.com. While I’ve ordered my board, I’ll post my experience once I get it up and running.
